"Like Idol Like Fan" Henecia VN did charity for KIM HYUN JOONG upcoming birthday

I like this saying “Like Idol, Like fan”

If you are Hyun Joong’s fan or Henecia, you know that our Only one is a good hearted person.

He DID donate a lot of money for charity.

HYUN JOONG is well known for his notable charitable acts.

He earns by himself and shares it to people in needed.

Lately he donated for a fund held by Jet Li and Chinese victims on earthquake in April.

So generous idol, right?

For celebration his upcoming birthday, Henecia Vietnam did charity at Le Minh Xuan Mental disorder hospital.

We called for donations from members and their helps in preparation for the food supplies for those patiences.

~
02.06.13 at 9 AM in a vegetarian food stall, around 30 henecians  presented and  started to make Bread.
Each of us shared the tasks: who cut the bread, who made the fillings, who peeled the cumcumbers, carrots and radishes,…. A lot of unnamed tasks were assigned.

We did it happily in spite of the hotness of the small room filled with people.

We chatted and made fun a lot from HYUNJOONG’s BFF filming in Vietnam to his up- coming Japanese album TONIGHT.

Seems that HyunJoong  linked us together for good deed.

The final was  510 loaves of bread, 12 cartoon boxes of milk

This is inside the bread ~ so yummy

Time to go.

We began to go at noon. These day, Saigon is rather hot esp at noon like this.

We came to the Hospital at ~ 12h40. But due to the rule, we could visit at 13h30. We rested and waited outside.

To tell the truth, at first I thought in my mind “what happened if the patients couldn’t control themselves?” “did they pull our hair, attack us or what?” I was scared.

We divided into 2 groups and start our task : Shampooing for them.

They didn’t let us shampoo their hair , we promised them after shampooing they would get “Bread and milk”. So they nodded and cooperated with us.

We gently washed and rinsed for them.

All my scares were washed away with the water and shampoo.

We sweated a lot since the brightest sun was over our heads. But these were sweat of happiness  and cares

Look at their senseless eyes or their nonstop murmuring, we felt heart aching.

For how long they didn’t take proper bath? How often their families visited them?

When I asked one patient  “Did you feel fresh and comfortable?” she smiled and answered “Yes”

Just a simple act but it can bring joy and happiness to the others.

That is the value of life.

Some patients even sang for us. We also joined them by singing along and clapping our hands.
At this time who can say they are patients because of their bright smiling face.

Time flew really fast.

It time to say goodbye.

A sister told to us “ Remember to visit them more frequently before they  are discharged from the hospital” and “wish  us all the best thing to come”.

That’s all for an unforgettable and meaningful day.

Like Henecia Vietnam slogan “Pay It Forward”

I hope in future, more and more Henecians or anyone can join us and spread the love of sharing to needed people.

Special thanks to Henecia VN staff for this project and  all of Henecian or Hyun Joong’s lover for joining us.

Irendy here writing.
